This post was originally published in the Rambling Labs Blog on January 7, 2012.

Version 0.3.1 of the jQuery Rambling Slider has been released! You can download it from GitHub and test it out.

The latest documentation of the jQuery Rambling Slider can be found on the project’s wiki on GitHub.

There was an issue with the slider not working on IE 8, due to an undefined function. I have to thank the people that emailed me about it. Because of them I was able to spot the issue and fix it!

This release includes the following:

  • Removed dev7 logo and added RamblingLabs logo.
  • Added the box and slice generators.
  • Removed some unnecessary px suffixes (top, left, right, bottom).
  • Fixed indexOf issue with IE 8.
  • Some additional refactoring.

If you find any issues, go ahead and submit an issue on GitHub. If you have any questions or want some additional support, don’t be afraid to send us an email to development@ramblinglabs.com.

Lots of stuff still pending! I have been working on migrating the project’s format so that it is supported by the new jQuery plugins site currently being developed (watch it’s progress on GitHub). I’ll be posting about this soon.

I’m currently working on the project’s home page and I’m very excited about it. So, let’s see if we can move closer to the project’s home page release and to version 1.0.0 in the next couple of weeks!

Enjoy! :)
